Laughing Matters Theatre Company was founded by Jenny in 2005 as a way to raise money for charity while presenting entertaining, enriching events such as play readings and full-scale productions. LMTC is currently focussed on producing classes and workshops.

The very first reading for charity starred Bernard Cuffling, Jennifer Clement, Katey Wright, Barbara Wallace, Dave McIntosh, Mark Gash, Jenny Mitchell, and Maggie Kolodziej. Several thousand dollars were donated to UNICEF after this successful night at Presentation House Theatre.
